Help us celebrate Baltic Sea Day on August 29!

Soon it will be time for Baltic Sea Day, an opportunity to recognize, enjoy and help our sea.
There is a program for the day, but the day is also a call to all of us to pay attention to our sea in a positive way, only the imagination sets the limits.

Started by the John Nurminen Foundation

The Baltic Sea Day was launched in 2019 by the John Nurminen Foundation in Finland.
Since then, it has grown every year both geographically and in the number of events.
More and more people and organizations are celebrating the day.
We hope you will do the same.

Spread the word on Baltic Sea Day

We at the Baltic Sea Contract Foundation would like to mark Baltic Sea Day by asking our contract signatories to spread the contract to family and friends.
Gather your loved ones, talk about the Baltic Sea, do something to help or just enjoy the Baltic Sea and help them sign the Baltic Sea Contract, a simple way to help our sea!
Then share on Facebook and Instagram with #östersjödagen or #balticseaday.
